Trying to Eat Better...

I attended a health related event over the weekend and I am exited about trying to eat better and exercise more. I walk/ran a 5K! The people I met inspired me. I will try to document what I am eating to stay accountable to myself and share ideas with others (that might not think about feed as much as I do!).

So far today:
WATERMELON - Whole/juiced
Had a last of the summer watermelon layong around. They are priced right now. You can make this and freeze it. Just put about 1 cup of water and seeded chucks of watermelon. Blend. This method is better than using a juier because you get the fiber.

SOUTHWESTERN ORGANIC GOAT CHEESE & CRUSTINI
Crustini came from Whole Foods but in the future I would like to make some from Ezekiel Bread. Added Mrs. Dash Chipolte and chopped walnuts to the cheese.

I am hoping getting full early will help me eat less later today.

Renea went to the grocery for me this morning. I got the ingredients for:
Fish with Cilantro Cream
Fish with Olive Oil, Garlic, Parlsely Topping (hoping to "steam" the fish in my Pampered Chef Baker
Creamed Spinach
Chopped spinach salad
homemade yogurt with papaya and mango
chicken wings
homemade spicy turkey breast breakfast sausage
